Do You Know the Way to San Jose?

Let's go 'Hawks!!

March 3rd

For us, March 3rd is a special day. It's our wedding anniversary... and this year, Erica and Linda (her mom) hosted a BABY SHOWER FOR US! We went to KS for the weekend so we could celebrate with friends and family one last time before the Little Guy arrives. The weekend was really great and we both had so much fun!

On Friday night, we had Jose Pepper's- delicioso!- and then went over to Barley's, which was fun. On Saturday morning, Beran came over and we got to watch the first KU/ Texas game.

Our shower was Saturday afternoon and we were so happy to see a lot of friends and family! We talked and caught up with everyone, opened such generous gifts, and even played "The Dirty Diaper Game!" The snacks and Red Velvet cake were fantastic! Erica and Linda were such kind hostesses and did such a wonderful job with the shower- we loved it and are so thankful!

Later that evening, Whit and Kirk, Mike and Stacy, and Andy and I went out to celebrate our 6th anniversary at Ruth's Chris, where we all ate too much!

Last weekend was really a special one!

D.C.- round two

Andy and I wanted to try to squeeze in another trip before the time we should stop travelling, so we nabbed some good flights and flew into Baltimore for a long weekend with Ryan and Jessica in DC. It was fun because the trip was relaxing and we enjoyed our time with R and J, playing cards and wandering through different parts of the city. It was also a good time because IT SNOWED while we were there!

One picture is all of us together at an oyster bar called Clyde's and another is of the SNOW falling outside! There is also a cute picture of Andy and Jessica at Clyde's.

A few more...

These are just a few more pictures from Christmas/ New Year's Eve that I wanted to include... too bad I can't put in the video of Andy's version of Steelheart on karaoke- it was the "awesomest!" (The website for the locals' bar that we love in Siesta Key is http://captaincurts.com/index.html)

Christmas celebrations!

These are some pictures from Christmas, both in Kansas and in Florida. We enjoyed ourselves, but our vacation time went by too quickly. It was really special to see our friend Jamie (who drove down from Ft. Walton Beach) over Christmas!!

Christmas Parties!

One weekend in December, we were busy with Holiday festivities! We had a Christmas party for school on Friday and then had our own Christmas party with friends here on Saturday! Both evenings were a lot of fun, so I'll add some of those pictures here!

KU B-ball

Another Thanksgiving picture- watching KU play Ball State at Tanner's.

Two weeks later, we went back to watch KU vs. Toledo at Kemper with The Koonces, Beran, and Brant.

Blog? What blog?

Well, it's finally time! I have been waiting for this very special day so I could post again... Daylight Savings!

(Okay, not really- I've just been really lazy about posting! It was a good try, though!)

I have some pictures to put up since my last post: Thanksgiving and a KU b-ball game in KC, Christmas parties for home and work, Christmas celebrations with family in KS and Florida, and another fun (and cold!) trip to DC.

For Thanksgiving, we went to Kansas City. This was a yummy lunch at The Peoples' new place!
